Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you want to know before buying — and after. Can't find your answer?
What metal is used in Sewar jewelry?
All our pieces are made from 925 sterling silver, which means 92.5% pure silver. It's the standard for fine jewelry worldwide.
Is sterling silver good quality? Will it last?
Yes. 925 sterling silver is durable, hypoallergenic, and holds its shape and finish well with proper care. It's one of the most trusted metals in fine jewelry.
What is rhodium plating and why does it matter?
Rhodium is a precious metal applied as a thin coat over silver. It gives the piece a bright, white-mirror finish and protects against tarnish. Our jewelry is available in rhodium, gold, and rose gold plating.
Will the plating wear off over time?
All plated jewelry wears gradually with daily use. With proper care — keeping it away from perfumes, water, and harsh surfaces — your plating will last much longer. We also offer repair and re-plating services.
Is Sewar jewelry suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Sterling silver is naturally hypoallergenic. All our plating options (rhodium, gold, rose gold) are also skin-friendly and safe for daily wear.
Are the gemstones real?
Yes. Our pieces are set with genuine gemstones in a variety of types, cuts, and sizes, chosen to complement each design.
How long will my order take to arrive?
All orders are delivered within up to 10 business days. Each piece is made to order, so this time covers both production and delivery.
Do you deliver outside Egypt?
We currently deliver across all of Egypt only.
Can I return my order if I change my mind?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery. The piece must be unworn, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Contact us first to initiate a return.
What if my piece arrives damaged or defective?
Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with a photo of the issue. We'll resolve it immediately.
Is there a guarantee on my purchase?
Yes. Every piece comes with a 6-month guarantee from delivery, covering manufacturing defects under normal use.
